What is Kinify Services?

Kinify Services is an online marketplace that connects people in Kinshasa and across the Democratic Republic of the Congo with local professionals: masons, plumbers, electricians, technicians, cleaners, hairdressers and many more. You can find, compare and contact professionals in one place.

Which cities do you cover?

Kinify Services covers Kinshasa and its communes as well as other cities across the DRC. Use the Regions menu or the search bar to browse professionals by city or commune.

Is it free to browse?

Yes. You can browse categories, search and view listings without an account. You only need an account to message professionals, book services and leave reviews.

Account & Registration

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up at the top of the page, fill in your details and confirm. Once you are signed in you can message professionals, manage bookings and, if you offer services, add your own listing.

Is it free to create an account?

Yes. Creating an account on Kinify Services is free, for clients and for professionals.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Use the reset your password link and follow the instructions sent to your email. If you still can’t sign in, see Account & Login Help.

Booking & Services

How do I find and book a service?

Search by keyword or open a category, filter by city or commune, then compare listings: services offered, prices where shown and reviews. When a listing offers booking, choose the service and options you need and follow the steps to confirm. Otherwise, message the professional to agree on the job.

How do I contact a professional?

Open their listing and send them a message. Your conversations are kept in the Messages section of your dashboard.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Contact the professional through Messages as early as possible to agree on a change. Your bookings appear under My Bookings in your dashboard. See our Refund Policy for more details.

Payments & Refunds

What payment methods are accepted?

Kinify Services accepts Orange Money, M-Pesa, Airtel Money and bank cards. Cash payment is also possible in some cases, depending on the professional and the service. The amount due and the payment options available are shown before you confirm a booking.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds depend on how the service was booked and paid. Read our Refund Policy, and contact us if you need help with a specific booking.

For Providers

How can I become a service provider?

Create a free account, then use Add Listing to describe your service, the communes you cover, your prices and photos of your work. Read our Provider Guidelines before you publish.

Does it cost anything to list?

Creating an account is free. Any listing options or fees are shown to you before you publish.

How do I receive messages and bookings?

New messages and booking requests appear in your dashboard, where you can reply, confirm bookings and keep track of your calendar.

Can I edit my listing later?

Yes. Go to My Listings in your dashboard to update your description, prices and photos at any time.

Reviews & Ratings

How do reviews and ratings work?

After working with a professional, clients can rate the listing and share feedback. Reviews help other clients choose and help good professionals stand out.

Can I leave a review?

Yes. Sign in, open the professional’s listing and leave your rating and comment. Please keep it honest, respectful and about the service you received.

Mobile App

Is there a Kinify Services mobile app?

Not yet. A mobile app is coming soon. In the meantime, the website works on any smartphone browser.

Technical Support

The website isn’t working properly. What can I do?

Refresh the page, check your connection and try another browser. If the problem continues, tell us through Report a Problem with a short description and, if possible, a screenshot.
